Cascade Park is a well established neighborhood to the northeast of Portland. Located to the east of Vancouver, WA, Cascade Park is one of the largest subdivisions in Clark County. A majority of the residents in Cascade Park Southeast are retirees, Cascade Park runs south of Mill Plain Road to the Columbia River with I-205 to the east and SE 164th Ave to the west. This community offers plenty of shopping, restaurants and entertainment but Portland is not too far away either, only thirty minutes to an hour by car.
While Cascade Park has plenty of amenities itself, I-205 is easily accessible, even though traffic can really get bogged down travelling into Portland. The Portland International Airport is nearby along the I-205. The MAX lite rail provides service from Cascade Station to the Portland Airport and downtown Portland as well. Bus service is also available in Cascade Park provided by TriMet. As with several areas in the Portland area biking and walking is an extremely popular mode of transportation.

Cascade Park is part of the Evergreen school district offering educational opportunities to the residents of Cascade Park. Most of the schools in Cascade Park are considered to be average and above average with only a few with a little less desirable ratings. According to Greatschools.org, Fishers Landing Elementary was given a rating of 8/10, Mountain View High School was given a 7/10 rating and Crestline Elementary was rated 6/10 all above average ratings. Shahala Middle School and Columbia Valley Elementary School were given average ratings of 5/10. Riverview Elementary and Wyeast Middle School were both given less desirable, below average ratings, Riverview Elementary was given a 4/10 rating and Wyeast Middle School a rating of 3/10.
