Gresham also offers ample bike and pedestrian trails to get around as well, such as the Springwater Corridor, 40-mile Loop, Gresham-Fairview Trail, Gresham Butte Saddle Trail, Kelly Creek Greenway Trail, and the Nakada Loop Trail. Air travel is available through the Portland International Airport, located only approximately 12 miles from Gresham's city center and can conveniently be accessed by the TriMet MAX light rail service.

Gresham has community gardens throughout the city available, promoting healthy eating habits and community. The big decision is which community garden is convenient for you. The City Hall Gardens, Yamhill Gardens, Thom Park Gardens, Nadaka Nature Park and Garden, Central City Garden, and the Vance Park Garden are all available to choose from. Arts and culture are also important to Gresham with two museums to explore: the Gresham History Museum and the Zimmerman House Museum. Also, the Gresham Arts Plaza promotes the arts with scheduled events throughout the year.
