Typically, brokers will give sellers a high price in order to get a listing signed, and this almost guarantees multiple price reductions while it’s on the market. We save you that frustration by being honest about what your home is worth. 

One big misconception sellers have is that, since the market has been so hot the last few years, that their home will sell in a heartbeat no matter what price. And that simply just isn’t true. We actively list homes that have fallen off the market because the previous agent wasn’t providing their clients with market-accurate prices. These homes actually make up about 50% of our business. Because our brokers are transparent and honest up front, you, the seller, can make the best decision for you and your family. 

One of the ways we effectively price our homes is by comparing it to similar homes that have recently sold in the surrounding area. Homes with similar bed and baths, square footage, and local amenities. It’s as simple as comparing apples to apples. It’s how we know we’re providing market-accurate estimates. 

Usually, if your home has previously been on the market for the last five or so years, we can look at similar properties and accurately provide an estimate. But if you’ve been in that home for decades, we prefer to visit the home in person and effectively price it out. We get as much information about the home as possible to ensure we’re giving you a price that makes you a happy seller, and creates a happy new homeowner.
