Fort Vancouver Summer Fest
After a two-year hiatus, Vancouver locals are eager for the return of July 4th festivities. The Fort Vancouver Summer Fest is on its way to help locals celebrate the holiday. There are many great reasons to attend this fireworks-free event at the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site.
The Historic Trust is a nonprofit organization that will collaborate this year with the National Park Service and the city of Vancouver to introduce this new community picnic event known as Summer Fest.
Be one of the first to embrace this novel event with family and friends, and make new memories! This event is free to attend, with food and drinks available from various vendors. Attendees are welcome to bring a picnic and cooler as well. In addition to a corn hole tournament, there will be other lawn games, rides in military vehicles, bubble blowing, and live music all day long. Settle in at dusk to enjoy a free movie on the lawn.

Ridgefield 4th of July Celebration 2022
For a day of fun, head to the 4th of July Festival in Downtown Ridgefield this year. The Ridgefield community has held July 4th festivities for over 100 years, and the tradition goes on in 2022. The day starts with a fun run at 8 a.m. and is followed by a pre-parade for kids and leashed pets.
At Overlook Park, there will be several craft vendors and food trucks to sample, along with a beer garden sponsored by Metropolitan Productions. There will be street dancers in the plaza, and kiddos can buy a $5 wristband to enjoy endless activities all day. Be sure to let them sign up for the pie-eating contest, and bring an extra shirt.
Around 8:30 p.m., seating begins at Abrams Park to repeat last year's Laser Light Show by NU-SALT LASER. This fantastic group has performed at The Grammy's, on MTV and ESPN, and appeared in the movie Bridesmaids and others. While the show doesn't start until 9:45, the best seating in the center of the field goes fast!

Celebration at The Port of Camas-Washougal
The city of Camas and the Washougal community come together to host the 2022 Port 4th of July Concert and Celebration at the spectacular and historic Washougal Marina Park. The fun starts at 11 a.m. and will wrap up after the 10 p.m. fireworks show over the water. Live music from popular cover bands Shades of Huey and 5 Guys Named Moe, with the tunes starting around 6 p.m.
Children's activities will start around 4 p.m., and food and drink vendors will be present throughout the park grounds. Gear up for some old-time rock and roll, folk music, and country classics, so bring those dancing shoes!
