Eagle Ridge is really in a prime, central location which makes so many amenities available, all within close reach. Progress Ridge TownSquare has a little bit of everything to offer visitors. Enjoy a movie at the AMC Dine-In theatre, pamper yourself at one the spas, get some exercise at Tough Mudder Bootcamp or Club Pilates, visit a salon to get your hair done, make an appointment for a dentist or chiropractor appointment, dine at one of the unique restaurants or a sweet treat at the frozen yogurt shop. Visitors can really get a one stop shopping experience at Progress Ridge TownSquare, even grocery shopping or a vet appointment are available. Murray Scholls Town Center offers a lot of the same type of stores, also providing one stop shopping. Downtown Portland isn't too far away either, so a visit to downtown for a change of scenery or Eagle Ridge doesn't have what you are looking for, you will likely be able to find it in downtown Portland.
Cooper Mountain Nature Park is a 231-acre nature park that opened in 2009 offering 3 1/2 miles of nature trails for a wonderful experience through forests, prairie to oak woodlands. Amazing, grand views of the Chehalem Mountains, close-up looks at Oregon white oaks and a small prairie. Jenkins Estate is an historic home that was built with the intention of being a summer home sitting on 68-acres, now owned by Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation District. The estate has now been renovated and is now open for self-guided tours of the stables and wooded grounds. Progress Lake to enjoy a day of fishing or taking a walk around the lake. Another great option is Washington Park offering the Oregon Zoo, Portland's Children Museum, the Japanese Gardens and more. There are plenty of opportunities for shopping, dining and entertainment right in the very community, so residents don't have to go very far.
