Cedar Hills is located in Beaverton Oregon, approximately a 10 minute drive from downtown Portland. This neighborhood has the honor of receiving the title as one of the best places in Oregon to live. Conveniently, Cedar Hills offers plenty of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and parks to the community. Being so close to downtown Portland, anything that can't be found in Cedar Hills is within close reach. Cedar Hills is located south of U.S. Route 26 and west of Oregon Route 217 for quick access to surrounding areas.
Cedar Hills Park has been recently redeveloped and provides many high demand ammenities to the community of Cedar Hills. Featureing a new multi-purpose atheletic field complete will lights and a concession stand, a multi-use sport court for bocce ball or volleyball, a splashpad and play area. The Conestoga Recreation and Acquatic Center providing additional recreational opportunities to include water sports and fun. Multiple nature trails for biking, jogging, walking or running while enjoying nature are offered through trails such as Fanno Creek Greenway Park Trail, Waterhouse Trail, Rock Creek Trail and many others. Cedar Hills also offers 14 community garden sites to promote gardening and healthly eating habits.
Many homes are within walking distance from one of two light rail stations conveniently making transportation quick and convenient without all the headaches of traffic congestion. The TriMET also offers several bus lines that will transport residents around Cedar Hills and surrounding areas. If travelling by car nearby Route 26, 217 or I-5 are easily accessible. For air travel, the Portland International Airport is only about 30 minutes away from Cedar Hils.

The Beaverton School District serves the Cedar Hills neighborhood with public education. The schools offered to the Cedar Hills community could use some work but, they are not terrible either. According to Greatschools.org, Cedar Park Middle School was given a 7/10 rating, Meadow Park Middle School was given a 6/10 rating, William Walker Elementary School was given just barely a below average rating of 4/10, Beaverton High School and Barnes Elementary School were given a below average rating of 3/10. This is normal for most districts to have a few schools that need some work, many of them on the cusp of achieving a higher rating.

The Cedar Hills Home Owners Association was created with the intention to preserve the integrity of the neighborhood. One of the key items that the association reviews are building permits, restrictions are put in place in order to ensure property values are maintained. The association also enforces that rules and regulations are followed by homeowners in order to keep this neighborhood attractive.There is a Homeowners Association fee that is charged annually to the residents of Cedar Hills to provide funding for the maintenance of common areas and repairs for sidewalks and light posts.

Miles of trails, some of which are paved run throughout the park, even offering handicap accessible trails. There are several other nearby parks and nature areas offering a variety of amenities for everyone to enjoy.
