The Case for Personal Presentation of Offers
Posted on: April 27, 2007
The State of Oregon has very specific directives with regard to broker representation in real estate. As such, two brokers are generally involved in the majority of real estate transactions. One represents the sellers and another represents the purchasers. Each broker bears the responsibility of protecting his or her client’s interests. After 30 years of selling residential real estate, I have found that possibly the most important function brokers perform in promoting their clients’ interests is setting up a formal offer presentation between the listing and selling brokers and the sellers themselves.
