Holiday lights are a wonderful tradition that dates back to the middle of the 17th Century when small candles were attached to trees using wax. Portland has a long standing tradition with Christmas lights starting with Peacock Lane in the 1920’s. The Christmas Ship Display is the oldest in the country with a 53-year history. INTEL-SOLV Clean & Green Project
