NE Portland Oregon Market Statistics as of September 2007

These market statistics are compiled by RMLS™ of Oregon and represent data collected up to September 2007.


The absorption rate for the Portland metro area is 8.6 months; the highest rate since January 2000 when inventory reached 10.1 months.

Interest rates remain low. Freddie Mac reports the average 30-year mortgage rate as of October 11th to be 6.4%, which is slightly greater than the yearly average of 6.38%.
