Oregon City Market Statistics as of September 2007

These market statistics are compiled by RMLS™ of Oregon and represent data collected up to September 2007.

The absorption rate for the Portland metro area is 8.6 months which is the highest rate since January 2000, when inventory reached 10.1 months.

Interest rates remain low. Freddie Mac reports the average 30-year mortgage rate as of October 11th to be 6.4%, which is slightly greater than the yearly average of 6.38%.
