These market statistics are compiled by RMLS™ of Oregon and represent data collected up to June 2007.


The absorption rate for the Portland metro area is 4.5 months which is down from the two-year high of just over six months in January 2007.


Interest rates remain low. Freddie Mac reports the average 30-year mortgage rate as of July 12th to be 6.73%, as compared to the 6.15% reported in May.
