Autumn in Gladstone
Posted on: October 04, 2007
This time of year Gladstone is buzzing with excitement. Not only are the tree lined streets beautiful with the changing colors of the leaves, but the little town is full of school spirit. This year especially, the Friday night lights of the football field are bigger than ever! Over the summer the town’s Garrett Field got a makeover. It went from grass to turf and got a new red asphalt track. There has been a grand opening event, and Homecoming for Gladstone high school will be on October 19th, 2007. The entire community has benefited from the new field. Families and citizens of all ages are welcome to walk the new asphalt track; often on Saturdays the youth football program has their jamborees and home games at Garrett Field. Even the third and fourth grade teams get to tackle on the turf! So put on Gladstone’s school colors, Orange and Black, and come and join the fun watching the Gladiators of all ages play football.
Don’t miss the fun, peruse this year’s schedule and other Gladstone Gladiator information.
