Parkrose Heights
Like Parkrose to the north, small ranch style homes, good schools and nice parks make Parkrose Heights a great place for first time home buyers and families.
What stands out the most while driving through Parkrose or Parkrose Heights is how nice the streets and parks are kept. Large lots with are the norm here. Many of the homes have topiary style bushes and trees, resembling something out of a Dr. Suess book. Almost all of the yards are very well kept. People here take pride in their homes. The same can be said for the parks. We saw several very nice parks, some with play equiptment, some just nice open spaces. My favorite was full of huge fir trees, like a forest in the middle of suburbia.
Close to I-84, this area seems like a relatively easy commute from the outer southeast area. It is also close to shopping areas and the City of Gresham.
