Lloyd District

Lloyd District is bordered by the Eliot, Irvington, Kerns, and Sullivan’s Gulch neighborhoods, as well as the Willamette River.

The Lloyd District, a mostly commercial area, is located directly across the Willamette River from downtown Portland and is easily accessible by the MAX light rail, the Vintage Trolley, and several Tri-Met bus routes.

The Lloyd Center contains over 200 stores, a large food court, movie theaters, and an ice rink. Also within the Lloyd District are the Memorial Coliseum and the Rose Garden- home of the NBA Portland Trail Blazers basketball team, the WHL Winter Hawks hockey team, and the NLL Lumberjax lacrosse team. The Rose Garden also hosts many of the city’s largest events and popular music concerts.

The Oregon Convention Center on the west end of the Lloyd District includes a 255,000 square foot exhibit hall, two ballrooms and 50 meeting rooms. The Convention Center’s modern twin glass spires are one of Portland’s favorite landmarks.
