Hayden Island

The east end of the island, often called Jantzen Beach, has the shopping mall with many national chain stores, hotels, offices and condominium complexes. The shoppin area is located directly next to the I-5 freeway. Further east there are several houseboat moorages and marinas. At the far end of the island, there is a large forest of undeveloped area great for walking, birdwatching, or a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
