Located on the Willamette River, Elliot’s neighbors include the Boise, King, Irvington, and Lloyd neighborhoods.

Elliot residents pride themselves on maintaining the character of this older Portland community. Most homes here are Victorian style and old Portland style. You can also find the original 1900s sidewalks imprinted with the names of the original craftsmen, and fitted with metal curb rings for tethering horses along the streets. The residential areas are well kept, while the commercial area is currently in transition. Residents are fighting to maintain the charm by keeping out less desirable businesses. Located next to the Broadway Bridge, Elliot is within walking or biking distance to downtown and the Pearl District.
